Hollingsworth Court presented another successful fire stopping project for our client Torus, with a value of £130K completed over a 3-month period following a compartmentation survey that identified several issues within the building. The project's main challenge was working in a sheltered accommodation facility for elderly residents, requiring our team to carefully coordinate around the residents and the operational demands of the facility. All compartmentation and fire stopping issues were successfully addressed, further strengthening our positive working relationship with Torus, whom we value as a key customer following this project and previous work at Sankey Manor.

BDL Fire Protection successfully completed Fire Stopping works at Hollingsworth Court for our client Torus. During the initial inspection, a compartmentation survey identified several issues within the building. Based on these findings, we were instructed to carry out the necessary works as part of a £130K project, which was completed over a 3-month period.

All compartmentation and firestopping works were completed during this project. The biggest challenge of the project was the nature of the building itself as it is a sheltered accommodation facility catering to elderly residents. We had to work around the elderly residents and operational demands of the building.

Conclusion

After this successful completion at Hollingsworth Court and previous projects such as Sankey Manor, we established a positive and professional working relationship with Torus whom we greatly value as one of our key customers and look forward to working with them in the future on new projects.
